Evan's belt promotion was a few weeks ago, and I am just downloading pictures. It's almost as if I was busy or something over the last couple of weeks (cough..cough... got a new puppy and have been too busy to even take a shower as of late... but that post is to come, may take me another 3 weeks for that one). We were very proud of our little karate star. Not neccesarily because he is a Karate Master, I mean, he is 5 y'all. But because he is shy and hates attention on him, and he did great during the ceromony and in all of his classes. He was super brave even though he was not in his comfort zone to say the least. I really loved the class and what it had to offer. It focused more on safety and what to do if a stranger approached, then actual Karate moves which is completely age appropriate. His teacher was hilarious, loved her. He is looking forward to earning his stripe for his Orange belt next semester!!! And what a treat, Ugbie and Melly, and Meema were in town to watch!!!
