Sup?

Where ya been lady?  That's what y'all may be thinking. I am not sure where I have been to be honest!  I suppose my new job has started to cramp my style!  I used to have 5 naps a week to myself. I am lucky enough to have 2 boys that nap at the same time still for at least 2 hours a day.  But now my new jobby job has me working during two of those naps, and 2 more naps a week I spend prepping my charts for the following day. Carry the one, subtract the two...wait what?  Now I have one nap a week to do all of the things I love to do?  Ludicrous I tell you. Ludicrous.  Working is for the birds. I think I am just gonna play the lotto instead.  These are the only two pictures I have taken of my boys in the last month?  Redonk.

So as for an update on the fam?  Paul is about the same.  His territory continues to grow, as do his responsibilities. But he somehow manages to juggle it all pretty seamlessly.

Evan is 4 1/2 going on 10. He is sassy, a clever negotiator, smart as a whip, and a caring big brother. He is enjoying soccer, has graduated from swimming and is looking forward to a stroke class this summer, and still loves preschool.  He is a Lego fanatic.  And loves ninjas, super heroes and star wars.  He is eating like a horse and finally weighs almost 38 lbs, but is still as long and lean as ever. His favorite thing to do is go on "Adventures", which is a fancy word for walk. But his walks always contain some sort of mission, and everyone has to carry a star wars gun or a sword of some sort.

Drew is 2 1/2, is talking up a storm, but prefers the word NO to all other words.  He also graduated from survival swimming and is looking forward to never seeing his swim instructor ever again.  He loves school, and is becoming a social butterfly.  He still loves cars and trucks, Mickey Mouse, and shares Evan's love for Lego's. He is an animal lover like his Mama.  He loves to copy everything Evan does, which for the most part, Evan eats up. He likes to call all the shots, including what he eats. He will not eat anything he doesn't want to. Hmm, that sounds familiar, no?  He is a snuggler to his core, and I treasure our bedtime routine more then anything else in the whole world. He also has a crush on his nanny, Miss Cassidy.  He blushes at the mention of her name.  She is one lucky lady!

Me?  Well, I am working two jobs now, and for the most part I love it. Gives me some extra spending money, and gives me adult time, and makes me use my brain that has only been used  for reading Dr. Seuss books for the last 4 years.  I love the people I work with, and I love all of the responsibilities I have, and I enjoy learning all of the new things I have been learning. Oh yeah, my brother gave me his old camera, which is a big step up from mine. HOLLA!!!  So I am learning to use that in my spare time. I am looking forward to our upcoming vacation with 4 or 5 other families and then my girls weekend the month after!!!

Kay... so will try to do better with the blogging, but don't hold me to that. But I did want to update that we are keeping on keeping on, healthy and happy over here in our world.

Blue Berry Pickin with my Best Boys (and Meema too)

Here are a few pics I took with my point at shoot last weekend at the Blue Berry Farm. Which just happens to be across the street from our home!  We got about 2 full buckets of Blue Berries which tasted amazing made into jam, eaten plain, and sprinkled over my yogurt!!!!  We enjoyed our Easter weekend with Meema immensely!  Filled with lots of fun and delicious FOOD, and Easter treats of course.

Geez Louis!

I don't remember the Easter Bunny going this crazy when I was a kid!  I mean, don't get me wrong I never went without.  But this Easter was redonk!

Little fishes trike-a-thon!!

Last week our school had a trike-a-thon to raise money for our budget deficit. My boys raised over $50... Thanks to all of the grandparents. Thank goodness for Drew's sake it was a lump sum and not per lap because he refused to ride, but managed to walk a few laps instead. Evan, on the contrary, did 15 laps, which was the record for the day and because of that he won first prize, a book!!!!

Oh dear!

I certainly hope this is the last time I walk in and find the boys naked in the bathtub with 3 other boys!!!

And yes, sometimes iPhone pics sometimes create demon eyes!!!!!  But too cute not to share! I mean, check out Evan's smile!
