Saturday night we got a babysitter and went out for New Years Eve with old friends in town from Charlotte, NC. This was a major improvement from last year's festivities, when we all had the stomach flu and I was up all night with Evan while he threw up in his sleep. Yikes! We went to Le Rouge for dinner and then we went to Ice Bar. It's a bar where half the place is 27 degrees and made out of ice; the bar, seats, glasses... it's freaking chilly! You are only allowed in that area for 45 minutes at a time, but I think we lasted 20! The rest of the bar is a normal temperature. It was super fun! And of course after our LATE night, Evan was up at him normal 6:30 am *groan*.....
