My cake baking season is in full effect starting today. If you came into my kitchen right now you would see three different colors of homemade buttercream icing, chocolate cakes cooking on the counter, ice cream cones turning into castle towers, and candy for decorating the castle scattered everywhere. You would also see blue handprints on every surface from about my waist down. That would be because I let these little ankle biters lick the beaters. And as soon as the sugar hit their bloodstream about 2.5 seconds later, they thought it would be a great idea to run around the island as fast as they could, screaming, icing flying every which way. I wouldn't have it any other way though, really. That's what Lysol wipes are for, No?!!! Plus, these skinny boys could use a little butter and sugar. I can see their RIBS people!!!
