Cause Santa Won't be back for a while...

On December 26th, I realized that I better get creative.  I had been using "Santa's watching you, he wouldn't like it if you ....." for so long.  I know I have two sweet boys, but sometimes they require bribes threats some extra motivation to be good.  So I started a marble jar.  Not only to keep the boys from beating each other up and stealing each other's toys... but to encourage Evan to keep on track with learning to identify his numbers and to start to learn to read and write.  Oh, and a huge one, to POOP IN THE POTTY FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!  He also gets one for trying a new food and for eating a really good meal without crying (sounds easy, but for Evan, not so much!). Every time he succeeds or is extra good, or picks up his toys, he gets a marble.  Drew is obviously too little to participate, but I made one for him, for some extra motivation for Evan.  "Evan, Drew just got a marble for eating his dinner, you better eat yours!!!"  So far, works like charm!!!  When they fill their jar, they get a toy!  Looks like it may take them a while, but that's fine with me!
