Dear Drew
Dear Drew,
I love it that you can play with one truck for at least 15 minutes, which is 14 minutes longer than your brother could at your age. I love it that you drive that truck all over the house, and you totally "get" what a truck is supposed to do. I love it that you at least "try" whatever I put on your high chair tray in front of you. You may not like it and it will inevitably end up on the floor, which is what Corky is betting on (as evidence by the stream of drool coming out of her mouth), but at least you try it. I love that you are a happy boy. You prefer two naps a day, but if we have plans that day that don't include a morning nap, you go with the flow and are happy until I put you down in your crib in the afternoon, and you make up for it with a 3 hour nap! I love that you are a mess and aren't afraid to get dirty. I love that when I change your diaper after dinner, there is most likely food in there, that fell down your shirt and got stuffed down in your diaper. I love that sometimes I miss some rolls and as soon as you get in the bathtub, there are food particles floating around. Green beans, pieces of cheese.. Evan is disgusted by this and usually requests to get out immediately. You would think I would check more thoroughly, but you are sneaky. I love that you love green beans. Evan hasnt' eaten anything green since 2008 (except for the occasional pea and piece of celery), so it's quite refreshing. I love how proud you are of all of your accomplishments. I love how you look up to your big brother, even when he just pushed you down and stolen your toy (which thank goodness, is much less frequent than it used to be). In short, I LOVE you Drew. We are so thankful that you are in our life and don't know what we would do whiteout you.
