Some people think you can't love inanimate objects. So not true. I love my camera and my lens and I LOVE my new flash!!! Thank you to my Dad and my girlfriends for the gift card that bought me my new flash!!! It really does turn boring every day indoor pictures, into interesting, natural-looking photographs that I will treasure for a long time to come. Even my untrained eye can see the difference. The first two pictures here are SOOC (straight out of the camera, unedited). Their faces have a shadow, they are definitely underexposed. Normally, I would never use a flash in my bathroom during the day. There is alot of light in there, but unfortunately, he is back lit, so it makes his face dark. But now with my new flash.... I can fill in the shadows with a soft, natural...yet subtly powerful light! LOVE IT!! The third and fourth pictures are SOOC, and taken with my flash, but they don't look yellow and harsh like my old one. My camera now weights two tons, but that's OK with me! OK, done with my pathetic amateur photography 101 lesson when you are really here to catch up on what's going on with my kids. I just love it, so I had to share!
