Trip to the Fire Station

A boy's dream come true. Especially for Evan, he loves trucks of any kind. My friend's brother is a firefighter and was gracious enough to show us around the station today. He probably didn't know what he was getting into when 6 Moms and 8 kids under the age of 3 showed up all at once. But we came bearing gifts (cupcakes and cinnamon buns)!!! Evan was getting tired, and is obviously teething (hence the constant fingers in his mouth).... so he wasn't as excited as I would have liked. But I know deep down, he thought it was really cool. Deep, deep down. They got to sit in the driver's seat of the fire truck, sit in the ambulance, and see the emergency lights turn on, on the fire truck.

Kaiyla, sitting in the ambulance.

Yasmine, in the ambulance. By the way, she is expecting a little brother in about 2 weeks!!!

I have decided this is some sort of gang symbol or sign language for get me out of this situation, pronto.

Evan, chillin at the back of the firetruck. Plotting his escape.

The big kids on the back of the truck. Evan is not pictured, as this was taken mid-meltdown.

My favorite picture of the day. Big Evan, "driving" the truck with his Uncle Charlie.

Kaiyla, being the girlie girl she is.

Poor baby's teeth hurt.
