If you can't brag about your son, who can you brag about. I used to not think Evan was very verbal. And he may not be compared to some of his friends, but I think he has exceptionally smart friends. I mean, talking in sentences before age 2, that's crazy. Evan isn't putting two words together, but he is learning so many words, so fast. He has been averaging 3 new words a day lately. More for posterity reasons (because I haven't written in Evan's journal in almost a year now...) here are the words he can say... or atleast the ones I can decipher and remember.
Mama
Dada
Me (Paul says it sounds more like Brie... but I know he is saying Me)
Sissy
Doggie
Baba (bottle)
Juice
Cracker
Baa (the sound a sheep makes)
Moo
Ruff Ruff
Meow
Turtle
Duck
Quack
Cluck
Shoe
Tweet Tweet and Oink Oink... but they sound exactly the same oddly enough
Sock
Tree
Sky
WaWa (water)
Truck (This list is clearly not in the order of how often he says the word, or this word would be first on the list)
Car
Please (used seldomly, but he can say it)
Wee (is this a word... probably not, but this is used frequently when doing something fun)
Tick Tock
Ding Dong
Boy
Baby
Hi
Fish
Ball
Pee Pee
Door
Dow (for window)
Char Char (Charlie his bear)
Boo Boo
Fan
Flower
Bubbles
E-I-E-I-O (OK, not actually a word... but in Evan's defense, it's probably harder to say than most words!)
Awe (when he hugs us or his teddy bear, he always says "awe", or when he sees daddy and I hug or kiss.... one day he'll be saying "gross", so I am eating it up)
