Evan has three Easter Egg Hunts coming up. Last year, he maybe got one or two eggs at his Easter Egg Hunts. He was mostly trampled by the big kids. So this year, we aren't taking any chances. Meema bought all the supplies for a good old fashioned Easter Egg Hunt in the backyard! So hopefully now he will know what to do when it comes time to search for eggs! He caught on pretty quick and even waited until the end to open them to retrieve his treats!!!

Easter Egg Hunt: Number One
Evan has three Easter Egg Hunts coming up. Last year, he maybe got one or two eggs at his Easter Egg Hunts. He was mostly trampled by the big kids. So this year, we aren't taking any chances. Dying Easter Eggs
Easter takes on a whole new meaning when you look at everything through a child's eyes. Last night we dyed some Easter eggs at Meema's house. Sure, it got a little (or a lot actually) messy, but it was so fun to see Evan's eyes light up at the mere thought of dunking eggs in brightly colored dye!! I just love this time of year and I can't wait to see Drew get excited about Easter when he is Evan's age.

Enough with the Tongue
This Just In:
Drew has definitely inherited Daddy's large forehead and I think these pictures prove that. Need I say more? He's got the largest head I have ever seen, and most of it is forehead. I see bangs in his future!!!
In other breaking news, Drew weighs 13 lbs 9 oz and is 25 1/2 inches long. 12 of those inches are pure noggin. Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

Traditions
Sadly we don't have many family traditions to speak of, yet. But I love traditions and hope to create many in the years to come. One tradition we do have is to get pizza whenever Daddy is out of town. Not much of a tradition, but it's fun nonetheless. Paul doesn't care much for pizza, so we don't get it very often and Evan (usually) LOVES it.. as you can see from the pictures!

You've Come a LONG Way Baby Drew
November, 2009
January, 2010March, 2010
Happy 6 Months Baby Drew. In the last six months you've beat some major health issues, almost tripled your birth weight, grew about 7 inches and won over many people's hearts. We love you and your big blue eyes. We adore you and your giant head and three chins. We are smitten with you and your beautiful toothless grin.
XOXO Mama, Daddy and Evan
(yes, this post is 3 days early, I was afraid if I waited, I would either forget or not have time!)

Animal Kingdom
This morning Evan and I went to Animal Kingdom, just the two of us. We had a great time. We managed to see just about the entire park in about 5 hours. We went on a safari ride, went to a Dinosaur playground, attended the Lion King show, met Daisy and Goofy (the lines were too long for Minnie and Mickey and Evan isn't too sure about characters yet), went to a petting zoo, rode the choo choo train, and did two walking jungle tours. We had an amazing time. My poor guy has a head cold, but he was a trooper. His favorite part was seeing the Gorillas, he says. My favorite part was by far the safari ride where we saw elephants, giraffe, hippos, lions, and rhinos...just to name a few.
