Birthday Celebration
Just a few snap shots from a recent trip to Grandma's House! We celebrated all of the September and October Birthday's in the family, so there were five in all! And no that LARGE glass of red wine wasn't Drew's...Guilty...that was mine. In my defense, Uncle Jeff did the pouring and he's a tad heavy handed when it comes to pouring me wine!!! We had such a nice time visiting with Aunt Gina, Uncle Jeff and Grandma and Grandpa and can't wait to do it again very soon!

Name This Post.
There is alot going on in this picture. Evan as Iron Man, intensely staring at the TV. Drew, essentially naked except for a cowbow hat and a diaper, following Evan's lead. And is that Uncle Jeff in the background wearing another Iron Man mask? Yup! Mkay. Like I said. Alot going on here. And in keeping with the randomness of this post, here are a few more random pics. On a side note, we did REALLY enjoy our visit with Aunt Gina and Uncle Jeff and Grandma and Grandpa!!

Happy 50th Birthday Jeff
The whole reason for our trip to NY was to help Paul's brother Jeff celebrate his 50th Birthday. It was, of course, a surprise party, otherwise there wouldn't have been a party! Jeff would have never let it happen, had he known about it, but I think he still had lots of fun! I always have fun any time our nieces and nephews are there. Of course I always feel ancient, as my oldest nephew is, gulp, 21. It was a great party, and fun was had by all!

Dinner with Family
Last night we enjoyed a family dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Starstrom, Aunt Gina and Uncle Jeff, and cousins Michael and Ryan. They are in town on their way to a Christmas cruise to Key West. They escaped the frigid temperatures of New York!!! We spent the day with them yesterday, and last night took the whole crew to Stonewood Grill. I was a little nervous because Evan isn't good at restaurants, and he proved me right. He was pretty terrible. Until Aunt Gina broke out her IPod Touch, Evan was mesmerized. Of course he had a break down when he had to give it back to her. But this morning all he talks about is Gigi and her ribbit (Aunt Gina and the frog that he saw on her Ipod Touch, of course!). Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Starstrom for a wonderful dinner!!
Thank You!!
Evan wants to thank his Aunt Gina, Uncle Jeff, and Cousins Michael and Ryan for the awesome toys they brought him for Christmas yesterday!!! They sure know the way to a little boys heart, choo choo trains, remote control trucks, books and a cool college t-shirt to be just like his big cousin Michael!!! He has been playing with these toys ever since, and insists on wearing the shirt Michael gave him at all times!!! Thank you!!! So next year I think he wants an Ipod Touch, so you're on that, right Gina?!!!! Kidding!! Now I officially have the most spoiled little boy in the entire world!!!

Hanging with Aunt Gina

We spent that last few days with Evan's godparents, Paul's brother Jeff and sister-in-law Gina, and their son Ryan. Let me just briefly mention that their kids Michael (who is away at college) and Ryan are two of the best kids I know. They are so sweet, polite and well-rounded and generally just fun to be around. I just wish I could see them more often, they live in NY. Evan loved being chased around the house by Uncle Jeff, and riding the carousel and train with Aunt Gina at Downtown Disney, and playing "superman" with cousin Ryan. I seriously need to take notes when I am around them, because if Evan turns out to be half the men Michael and Ryan are becoming, I will be one proud Mama. Let me apologize for the pictures, they are from my point and shoot and are pretty technically bad. But I cherish all pictures of Evan with his family, so I had to share them.
Wanna See What a $15 Piece of Cake Looks Like?

Last week we went to downtown Disney for some shopping and lunch, with Aunt Gina, Uncle Jeff, Cousin Ryan and Daddy. We ate at one of Evan's favorite places, the Rainforest Cafe. We pretended it was Ryan's birthday, and had the staff come and sing to him. But that didn't mean that the cake was free, it was $15 bucks!!! It was pretty darn good though, basically made out of three brownies and a bunch of icecream so how can you go wrong???
