Have you seen this boy?
Here is a rare picture of Evan outdoors. He can typically now be found on the couch playing Star Wars Wii. If anyone has any ideas on how to break him of this addiction, please message me! I am pretty sure the 32 Star Wars themed Christmas presents will only feed this full on obsession. Yikes.
D-roo Update
Oh geez... I feel like it's been ages since I have updated you all on my little guys. I have been slacking! Drew has changed so much over the last few months. He has been talking up a storm. He can say pretty much any word, he repeats EVERYTHING! He is still working on speaking in sentences, but I have a feeling that will be just around the corner. He knows most of his colors and even a few numbers. He also takes after his big brother in his love for everything Star Wars. He can identify Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Yoda, R2D2, C3PO, Boba Fett and the like. Of course he is still obsessed with anything Mickey Mouse. OBSESSED is actually an understatement. He is really enjoying school and his best buddy is his friend Kevin. He is a cuddler, especially at bedtime. His favorite past time is having someone read him a book. He still loves fruits, veggies, yogurt, and is in a good eating phase over the last week or so (this changes though by the day, usually so I ain't holding my breath). But his biggest vice is chips and french fries!!! He sleeps like a champ, he likes to sleep until 8-830...oh if only Evan would imitate THIS!!! His smile is my favorite smile in this entire world. Ok...nuff bragging on my D-roo. But it's so easy because he is basically perfection all wrapped up in a tiny 24 lb package!!

Meeting Santa
Yup. So after all the build up and anticipation... this is the picture we got. $23. But I had to buy it because it made me laugh so hard, I peed a little. I mean, classic Drew. And silly Evan, hamming it up, doing whatever the camera man told him to do.
I guess 3 and up is the magic age for Starstrom boys to enjoy and not be terrified of Santa. Here is Evan at age 2. Drew wasn't pictured because he was like 5 lbs still by that point!
You can see Evan isn't loving it. He has tears in his eyes, and a glazed over look because he is looking at some object the camera guy's assistant has that is blinking and spinning... and you can see my shoulder in the corner, the only way Evan would consider sitting. So happy I wore a bright yellow shirt that day. And yes, that's my leg between Evan's.
Then there was last year. Evan is loving Santa, hence my theory on the magic age of 3. Drew is terrified, but young enough to be mesmerized by the spinning, glowing thing. This year, not so much. And this Santa "retired". Um...I won't tell you my theory on that one. But the new Santa was actually a little less creepy because he talked. The previous one almost seemed half comatosed.
And darn it, I can't find my picture from 2008. I don't understand why? I only have about 50,000 pictures of the boys I have taken since then???

My Ham
Evan has become a little ham lately, always suggesting what would be cute for a picture. This is what he came up with the other day. He even suggested I get back a little bit because I was "too close for the shot". Geez. I have created a monster.

Always Wanted a Little Skater Dude
I always wanted a little skater dude. Not because I am athletic by any means or have ever even rode on one. But more because I like the way they dress...to an extent. Once you get to the baggy pants, no thanks. But instead I got one little boy who likes to wear skater hats, and one little boy who will pose with a skater hat for atleast 5 seconds...you decide who is who. So the photo lover in me, can't really complain.
Pictures with Special K
More precious pictures with Uncle Kevin, otherwise known as Ugbie... Evan and Drew have a blast when Ugbie is visiting, and this time was no exception. I think every other word out of Drew's mouth is AGAIN AGAIN. Because he wants Ugbie to tickle him, throw him up in the air, read him another story, etc., again and again.
UGBIE!!!
Here are some precious pictures of D-roo and his Ugbie.
And In case you are wondering, I figured out how to make my blog private, but NOT my photography blog!!! Yipee!!!
