Blue Berry Pickin with my Best Boys (and Meema too)

Here are a few pics I took with my point at shoot last weekend at the Blue Berry Farm. Which just happens to be across the street from our home!  We got about 2 full buckets of Blue Berries which tasted amazing made into jam, eaten plain, and sprinkled over my yogurt!!!!  We enjoyed our Easter weekend with Meema immensely!  Filled with lots of fun and delicious FOOD, and Easter treats of course.

I certainly hope this is the last time I walk in and find the boys naked in the bathtub with 3 other boys!!!

And yes, sometimes iPhone pics sometimes create demon eyes!!!!!  But too cute not to share! I mean, check out Evan's smile!

This year I am especially thankful for my family, my friends, our health, and the future which looks SO bright.

More precious pictures with Uncle Kevin, otherwise known as Ugbie...  Evan and Drew have a blast when Ugbie is visiting, and this time was no exception. I think every other word out of Drew's mouth is AGAIN AGAIN.  Because he wants Ugbie to tickle him, throw him up in the air, read him another story, etc., again and again.

ON THE CHARTS

One of my philosophies of life is....expect very little and you will never be dissapointed.  Now, that may sound like a pessimistic theory, but I don't see it that way. I am a pretty happy  person, and I never get bummed out because I expect very little most of the time. For example when I take Drew to the doctor. I expect to hear that he is not on the charts for growth and that he has some (minor...but nevertheless, present) type of thing wrong with him and there is a good chance we will have to take him to some far away specialist that our insurance doesn't cover.  So then when I hear he is ON THE GROWTH chart for the for the first time in his life, albeit 0-5th percentile...I am over the top stoked!!!  And when they tell me he has infantile dyskinesthia and recurrent anal stenosis, I am pretty excited about that too because treatment is just Mirilax. They are also worried about hypothyroidism because he still has a soft spot and barely has any teeth...and I'm still not bummed because I always expect them to tell me something.  And I think about all the little babies with serious health problems and I feel thankful my little Drew is healthy.... just a little "backed up" and toothless. 

Drew says Happy 4th of July.  He is my sweet little patriot, who celebrated his Independence by looking all cute and showing off his pearly whites and baby blues.

Pontoon Adventures

My one nature picture of the week...

We rented a boat on Thursday and explored the waters all around Anna Maria Island.  It was Drew's first time in a life jacket, and he embraced it right away.  He's so little, it acted like a chin rest for him!  Evan and Evan really enjoyed playing captain.  It was probably my favorite time from the whole week, minus being chased by a man eating crab. I may exaggerate a little bit.  Nah.  It was definitely trying to eat me.
