Spring Portraits 2011
The key to a good portrait of an almost 20 month old little boy is to take his picture where he is sure to be in view of lots of cool trucks, cars and bikes going by. Then back up, so he forgets you are even there....and snap away! A garbage truck is a sure win for a smile!!! I am just glad I got another wear out of this John John that I got for Evan many years ago, that I spent way too much money on, and that I think I put him in for about 2 hours!!! Anyway, enjoy our spring portraits (that would imply that I only take their pictures once a season....Ha, you're not that lucky)....So perhaps I should say enjoy our mid spring portaits? Whatever...Enjoy.

Evan Floats
Evan is my rock star swimmer. He still tries to act like he doesn't like to swim when there is an audience, but he is just still lacking the confidence. He can totally do it, and when he figures that out he is gonna turn into the fish that I know he is. I have never been prouder of my sweet, determined little boy.
Drew Floats
Tomorrow Drew take his final swimming test in his clothes where they basically drop him in the water and stand by and watch to see what he does. AKA where I sit by and try not to vomit up my breakfast. I am over the moon happy with Drew's progress with swimming. I wouldn't say he loves to float, but he does love to practice swimming back and forth from the wall to me. He is so proud of himself, you can just see it in his eyes. And most of all, I know if something horrific happens and he falls in the pool, I would have a minute or two to get to him. Uggh, I just vomited up my breakfast in my mouth just thinking about that. Wish him luck tomorrow! As much as I like shelling out $40 a day and spending about an hour of my precious time there 5 days a week....I hope to graduate and not look back for a while after tomorrow!!!

Night OUT!!!!!
One of my BFF's, Melissa turned 40 a couple of weeks ago, so this weekend, we threw caution to the wind and had a crazy night on the town!!! Let's just say, you are never too old to throw a few back and have a blast with your girlies!!!! Is my homegirl hot or what? She doesn't look a day over 25 in my opinion. LOVE MY MELISSA!!!!!

Dying Easter Eggs with Allison
Dying Easter eggs always seems like a great photo op...and it is in theory. But not so much in reality. All I got was the top of Evan's head because he was too into it to look up. And his skinny little pale body just doesn't photograph well, but there's no way I am gonna let him wear a shirt when there is dye involved. So this is all I got.
Easter Bunny Loot!!!
The Easter Bunny visited our home a day early so he could be sure to leave some treats for Allison, Ashley and Amber too!!! I like the Easter Bunny, he is big on practical presents like books and back packs for little 20 month olds starting preschool in the Fall!!! He also got Evan a fishing pole which he has been wanting for months now. And board games to pull out of the closet when...oh I don't know... your house gets hit by lightening and you have no TV for a week or so!!!! Evan couldn't care less about candy which is great, but totally boring come Easter time. But Drew is a baby after my own heart and can totally pound some jelly beans like it's going out of style.

Time with Dad
Here are a couple of terrible pictures taken with my point shoot, but just have to share anyway. Paul is an amazing Dad and the kids just loved every minute spent with him over his long weekend. He is so patient with them, and he makes being a Dad look so effortless. He's got two lucky little boys.
