I actually hate talking to people I don't know, and celebrities are NO exception. My Irish gal pal, Paula, pictured on the left, has no shame. She didn't even know who he was, but once she found out he was a celebrity, she had to meet him. But just so we didn't seem like star struck losers, when she went up to him, she said, in her thickest (natural) Irish accent, I just love spuds, being from Ireland of course!!! Would you mind if we take a picture with you Mr. Potato Head!! How could he refuse three

I like Spuds
My life is pretty random at times, so it should be no surprise that one of my friend's neighbors is Joey Fatone, and that we met him at a Halloween party on Monday, and that he had no pants on, and that costume was pretty short, I might add. Even more random is that I actually had a video on my phone of Paul and I doing a choreographed dance to an NSync song just a few months ago, in our living room. You know, after we got sick of doing a dance to a Britney Spears song. THANK GOD I didn't show Joey the video. It did cross my mind, though. Random is the only word that really sums up my life sometimes, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Halloween 2011
Here are some pictures from our Halloween adventure last night! I kind of was lame when it came to taking pictures, I just took a few at the Halloween party beforehand and none of the actual trick or treating. But in my defense, I was tending to Drew who was terrified of all of the decorations and the strange costumes. His new favorite word is NO and his favorite phrase is I don't wanna. So at least 80% of the time when he was trick or treating and the person would open their door, as I would nudge him forward and tell him to say trick or treat, he threw his bag down and would say, No, I don't wanna and run away crying. NICE. But Evan picked up the slack, and charmed his way into their hearts, often getting double handfuls of candy. Despite Drew's sassiness, we had a great time with our friends. Isn't Aimee (Drew's Buddy) an adorable Bumblebee??!!!

FAIL
This year I totally failed when it came to getting a kick a-- pumpkin. I usually have my Christmas tree up in November, my pumpkin in September and my Easter decorations out in March. I am a holiday lover and I love to enjoy them and savor them as long as I can. Which usually means I have a dead tree by Christmas (before we gave in and got a fakey) and a rotten pumpkin by Halloween, but so be it. This year I waited until today, the 29th, to get my pumpkin. Which meant all but one patch was already closed, and the one remaining patch had like 10 tiny pumpkins left. Not only that, but my kids refused to pose with the pumpkins. And pumpkin patch pics are my FAVE!!! TOTAL FAIL. But this week was most definitely a week of firsts. I had my first head shot photo shoot of an adult! I was asked to be a guest blogger on a fitness website with Cardiac Tips of the week! I attended a boot camp today, and my work out partener was my preist (WHAT?) and I followed that up with eating my weight in Nerds, Gobstoppers and brownies. Oh wait, that last one wasn't a first for me, sadly. OK, off to carve a pint sized pumpkin. Pitiful pictures to follow, I am sure.

Halloween Party
Ok, so for all the people who thought Drew hated his Mickey costume and thought it was lame.....Take this! Drew LOVES being Mickey and these pictures prove it! Well, sort of! We enjoyed attending my Mom's Group Halloween party on Friday...Friends, Food, Music, Cookie Decorating...Who wouldn't enjoy that!?

Fall Festival
Thursday, the boys and I ventured over to our buddy, Big Evan's, school for their Fall Festival. A hay ride (where we were in the first picture, which I quite obviously took myself!), bounce houses, a pumpkin patch, and FOOD are the fall activities we enjoyed the most! Halloween is my third favorite holiday behind Christmas and Thanksgiving, mostly because of all the candy and the fun outdoor activities like these!

MEE MOW
Drew is gonna be Mickey Mouse for Halloween, or as he says it, MEE MOW! He looks less than enthused in these pictures, but he really does love the costume, I just caught him in a foul mood on this particular afternoon.
Meet Peter
Meet Peter. Peter Pan. That is what Evan chose to be for Halloween this year. This is surprising given his obsession with Star Wars and Super Heros, but I think he makes a pretty adorable Peter!!!
